The House on Barber Mill has been a family affair from the start, and we think we’re a bit like you. We’re just regular people who have tried to fill our lives with things that we love - and we have a feeling you’ve decided to do the same with your recent engagement!

An Architect, Financial Rep, Event Coordinator, and an NC State student from Michigan - sounds like a recipe for a…Wedding Venue? We thought it did!

So in search of a property we went. We all agreed we wanted it to be an historic house - a style we knew and that we all loved. We also had a wish list:

• A porch that was to die for 🗸

• Amazing character and space to grow 🗸

• Inside a booming rural town close to Raleigh 🗸

During our search, we finally stumbled across a beauty - one that we immediately could envision your wedding day in the side yard, or in front of one of the largest Magnolia tree’s in NC, or maybe even next to the original tobacco barn.

We hope you instantly fall in love with her like we did (Yes, you read that right! We named the house. Meet Marilyn).

ps. That’s the selfie we took the last day of Jan 2021 right after we closed on the house. We can’t believe we’ve come this far. And we’re never changing out that picture to remind ourselves!
