The House on Barber Mill
A letter from us…
We’re Pressing Pause—But We’re Not Going Anywhere
After 4 years of restoring, opening, and hosting thousands of people at The House on Barber Mill, we’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter.
While our venue journey is coming to a close, we are incredibly proud of what we built—especially the renovation of this historic home, which remains one of our greatest joys.
We poured our hearts into every detail, every tour, and every event. We’ll forever cherish the weddings, the laughter, the vendor friendships, and every story shared on the porch or beneath Maggie. Watching each of you experience the house, the land, and its history— We are so absolutely honored and grateful to have shared that with you all!
But as time went on, it became clear that running a venue just wasn’t the right fit for our family long-term. There were parts of the business that didn’t align with the life we’re trying to build—and that’s okay.
So what’s next? Honestly, we’re not sure yet. For now, we’re just enjoying the home we’ve restored and the slower pace it brings. We’re staying open to what fits next—whatever that may be.
